SHENZHEN SG&SAST DIGITAL OPTICAL DISCS CO. LTD. is a manufacturer for high capacity storage optical discs. SG-SAST is based on original SHENZHEN SAST DIGITAL OPTICAL DISCS CO., LTD. (SASTDOD) which is the first manufacturer for CD-R products in china. SASTDOD imported most advanced and high tech equipments to produce the first recordable CD-R in china in 1996. Over the years, SASTDOD's product has won many international specification and standard. And has been established a brand name in the CD-R community. In 1998, SASTDOD has been complied and certified with the ISO-9002 standard.

In 2000, SHOUGANG GROUP cooperated with SAST GROUP to form the SHENZHEN SG&SAST DIGITAL OPTICAL DISCS CO., LTD., whose main business is to develop and produce high capacity storage optical discs. After production of the first CD-R in China, following the international trend of the development of high capacity storage optical discs, the company has developed a lot of new products, such as DVD-R, DVD+R and etc., and has expanded the production capacity as well. As the result, the company has become one of the leading enterprises in storage optical discs industry in China .

CD-R
SAST CD-Rs have conformed to Orange Book's specification and reached international quality level. SAST CD-Rs measured their quality against the competition on these five points:

DVD-R
SAST DVD-R is writable DVD. Presently the capacity of a single disk is 4.7GB and provides one-time writing capability. It uses similar recording system to CD-R and similar to CD-R in use. It's 100% compatible to DVD-ROM. It can play and read on DVD players. It is clear that DVD-R will become the next generation main storage media.

DVD+R
SAST DVD+R allows users to record information separately in multiple batches and belongs to the same writable system structure as DVD-R. The capacity of a single disk is 4.7GB. DVD+R has a proprietary writing technology alled Lossless link that can prevent the system instability problem such as buffer under run or vibration. It's 100% compatible to DVD-ROM. It can play and read on DVD players. DVD+R will also become the next generation main storage media.
